CLEP Study Guide

Don’t be discouraged by the quantity of information available on CLEP and college prep for home schoolers. CLEPStudyGuide.org is designed to be a simplified study guide for the CLEP exams. The materials and resources provided and/or recommended here are chosen based on our experience guiding our home schooled kids through a CLEP exam approach to college entry and preparation.

The benefit of this path for home schoolers is that CLEP credits automatically (as a rule) qualify the home schooled high school student as a transfer student into the college of their choice rather than needing to take additional ACT or SAT tests.

We welcome you to learn from our mistakes and successes by using the resources on this site. We’ve tried to avoid information overload by providing a simplified, systematic approach to taking the CLEP exams, rather than barraging you with so much information that you you might as well take the class at a college or university.
